Some time ago our design office completed the multi-discipline design process of the Music Education Center “Kilar’s House” .
This will be a center , which will be built in the house of the famous composer and pianist Wojciech Kilar, who died in 2013. The Center for Music Education Kilar’s House will combine the function of a museum, where visitors will be able to learn about the life and work of Wojciech Kilar. Items belonging to him – a piano, manuscripts, books or furniture – will be left behind. And an educational exhibition devoted to music is to be located in the added part. But it will also be used to organize musical events, such as recitals, workshops or mini-festivals.
The Music Education Center is to be a tribute to the composer, but also a gem of the city of Katowice.
